My classroom environment follows the communicative learning approach. Student participation is vital in the classroom, and I believe real life role-play using real life situations is a very effective way to teach and learn English. I design the lesson to meet the needs of the class, while at the same time pay attention to the individual needs of each student.

After graduating from Amherst College in U.S.A., I decided to work in Beijing as an English teacher. There are many reasons that motivate me. I have joined in an educational program as a teacher and manager during my summer holiday. I was drawn to this job very much. I really enjoy my class and the time spending together with my students. I knew from the depth of my heart that I want to be a teacher, and China seems to be a good choice because I have learnt a lot of Mandarin in my college.
